A patron asks a librarian for a book called "Oranges and Peaches." The librarian asks, Do you happen to know the book's author? The patron replies, Oh, it's by someone named Darwin. I have to read it for a class. The librarian finds a copy of "The Origin of Species" for the patron.

Your link to the dictionary entry of "defenestration" has the following bit if humorous text:
Defenestration at Amazon:
Low prices on defenestration. Qualified orders over $25 ship free
I can't wait to order the act of being thrown out of a window!
I should also add that there is another definition for defenestration that is common among UNIX geeks: The act of removing Microsoft Windows from a computer.
Hahahahahahaha! Defenestration is quickly becoming my favorite word. And if Amazon is selling defenestration, maybe we can collect them all. I haven't seen any drawn and quartereds for awhile -- that must be a rare item indeed. Might have to go to ebay for that one.
Somehow, the Trout Fishing in America song would not quite work with :defenstration...."
